5th Wednesday Guild practices be run in this way alternating between Hallow and Bromyard starting with Bromyard at the end of January.
b) Guild Outing. The date for the Guild outing in 2013 is proposed as June 21st and Fred will explore basing it around Shrewsbury.
c) Evening Outings. Evening outing dates are 18th July and 15th August the latter being Chaddesley Corbett and Kidderminster.
d) Special Practice. A special practice is proposed for March 21st for Stedman Triples. The location has yet to be decided.
e) Walk, Ring, Rail. There was support for this to be held in the summer, perhaps June.
f) Worcester Evening Outing. John Haydon will look to organise an evening outing with ringing at St Swithuns and Old St Martins.
g) Martley Guild Outing to Cornwall. Alan Gosling has organised a three day ringing tour in Cornwall based at Par/Fowey.
The dates are 9th to 11th May 2013 and nearly all towers are now booked. Details have been circulated to all towers and interested parties.
More copies can be made available. The details are also on the website. Interested parties were urged to make bookings for
accommodation direct with the Royal Inn at Par who have reserved space until the end of December.

9) Hereford Ringing Course 2013: John Haydon reminded the meeting that the dates will be 4th to 7th April 2013.
Funds are available to help with fees either from the Guild or from the Sarah Beacham Trust. As is usual practice,
the following enabling motion was put to the meeting by the chairman:- "this meeting agrees that the committee may at its discretion
provide financial support from Guild funds to any member attending, as a learner,
the Hereford Ringing Course 2013, with priority to be given to reimbursement of course fees and up to a total of £300."
The motion was proposed by Bob Bayliss and seconded by Joe Crocker.
Chris Carter from Shrawley is planning to attend the course in 2013.

10) Tower Reports.
Astley The bells remain in good condition. With help from Shrawley they are rung for the first Sunday in the month and special occasions.
Vic thanked Shrawley and the rest of the Guild for their support for weddings during the year.
Broadwas See separate copy.
Clifton The bells are in good condition and continue to have an annual inspection from Taylors.
With the help of Sue and Joe Crocker they have been able to ring for most Sundays. There are also two new learners.
Mike Snelling thanked Martley for their continued support at all times.
Grimley Phil Bullock confirmed the bells continue to be in reasonable condition although occasional greasing would not go amiss.
Thanks to Hallow they are rung for one Sunday every month.
Hallow See separate copy.
Martley John Haydon thanked all those who continue to support Martley and make it a thriving tower.
There are 10 ringers who ring for most Sundays and are able to help elsewhere as well.
The ringing standard has improved to the extent that minor methods can now be rung on Sundays with the home band.
Ombersley Nobody was present from Ombersley and no report was available.
Leigh In the absence of anyone from the tower Linda Taylor was able to confirm that the number of ringers is
low - 4 at best - but the bells remain in good condition.
Shelsley Nobody was present from Shelsley and no report was available.
Shrawley John Westwood reported good practices with ten ringers at the tower and 8 quarter peals have been achieved this
year with their own band including one to celebrate Brenda Williams 80th birthday. Jubilee ringing created a mention for
the tower on Hereford and Worcester radio. John proudly reported the tower came third in the branch striking competition
and the next Western Branch AGM is to be held at Shrawley.
Suckley Linda Taylor reported 5 ringers and regular support from Dudley Guest, Sue Crocker and Joe Crocker from Martley.
This is helping them to keep going. Ivor Bramwich is currently unwell but has remained as Steeple Keeper.
The need to carry out repair work on the bells remains a concern including a possible crack on the fifth.
